🎓 Celebrating Excellence | Felicitation Ceremony 🌟

Ashoka Institute of Technology & Management proudly hosted a prestigious Felicitation Ceremony to honor the meritorious students from MBA, Biotechnology, and B.Pharm programs who excelled in renowned national-level competitive examinations.

Addressing the gathering, Director Dr. Sarika Shrivastava applauded the achievers and emphasized that securing success in highly competitive exams like CSIR-NET, GATE, and GPAT is a matter of immense pride for both the institution and the students’ families. She highlighted that unwavering dedication, perseverance, and self-confidence are the true pillars of success.

Dean Academics Dr. S.K. Sharma shed light on the intense competition in these examinations, noting that only about 6–10% of candidates qualify CSIR-NET, while a mere 1–2% achieve the prestigious JRF. He further added that the success rate in GATE is also remarkably low, making these accomplishments truly exceptional.

Dean (CSE) Dr. L.S. Maurya remarked that such achievements significantly strengthen the academic ecosystem of the institution and inspire fellow students to strive for excellence. Director (Pharmacy) Dr. Brijesh Singh also extended his heartfelt congratulations and conveyed his best wishes for the students’ bright and successful future.

The ceremony was gracefully conducted and concluded with a formal vote of thanks by student Stuti Shrivastava. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students, who came together to celebrate and encourage the achievers.

✨ A Vibrant Celebration of Women Empowerment at Ashoka Institute ✨

Ashoka Institute of Technology & Management organized a colorful and impactful program on “Nari Shakti – Rashtra Shakti” under the Mission Shakti initiative on Saturday.

🎭 Students of Ashoka School of Business showcased their creativity and awareness through poster making, speech, and theatrical performances, beautifully highlighting the importance of women empowerment in society. Their presentations reflected sensitivity, innovation, and clarity of thought, leaving a strong impression on the audience.

🎤 The Chief Guest and Director, Dr. Sarika Shrivastava, emphasized that the Government of India is also actively promoting women’s representation through the Nari Shakti Vandan Act 2023. She highlighted that women empowerment is not just the responsibility of women alone, but men also play a crucial role in achieving it.

💬 She further encouraged students to focus on financial independence, stating that economic self-reliance is a key pillar of true empowerment and can only be achieved through dedication and hard work.

👏 Dr. Sarika Shrivastava appreciated the efforts of the faculty and students of Ashoka School of Business for successfully organizing the event.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in association with IEEE Student Branch at Ashoka Institute of Technology & Management successfully organized “Samarthya: Engineering with a Purpose” in collaboration with Fix My Life NGO, Varanasi.

📍 The initiative was conducted on 16th April 2026 at the NGO site, where students showcased innovative projects aimed at solving real-life challenges faced by specially-abled individuals and ensuring safety for society.

🎓 Special Guest Lecture at Ashoka Institute of Technology & Management

A special guest lecture was successfully organized by the Department of Pharmacy at Ashoka Institute of Technology & Management on Monday. The session featured Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Dave from Central University of Bihar as the keynote speaker.

💡 During his insightful session, Prof. Dave elaborated on advanced treatment approaches for Diabetic Retinopathy, a serious eye disorder. He highlighted that precise drug delivery to targeted areas of the body remains a significant challenge in modern medicine and emphasized the importance of controlled drug release systems in addressing this issue.

🔬 He further discussed the rising significance of green synthesis of metal nanoparticles—an eco-friendly and safer approach with minimal side effects. Special emphasis was placed on gold nanoparticles, which are emerging as an effective drug delivery system in pharmaceutical sciences.

Prof. Dave also explained how gold nanoparticles synthesized through green methods are being combined with Sorafenib Tosylate to enable targeted drug delivery directly to affected areas of the eye, thereby enhancing treatment efficiency for diabetic retinopathy.

🎖️ The program concluded with the felicitation of the chief guest with a token of appreciation and a memento.

🎤 The session was gracefully anchored by Assistant Professor Ms. Manisha Dubey, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Brijesh Singh, Director, Pharmacy.
