He built businesses. Then he built futures.

Every success story has a beginning.
For thousands of students, that beginning has been MES.

Over 55 years, the classrooms of MES have witnessed students go on
to serve as governors, cabinet ministers and senior police officers;
lead in law and finance;
contribute to medicine;
represent India in football and cricket;
earn national recognition in cinema;
and serve as frontline warriors during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their journeys may have taken them in very different directions, but they share a common starting point - MES Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar.

This is more than a collection of achievements. It is a glimpse into the many directions in which an education can take a student.

Look at the MES journey through the years, and one pattern stands out:

Evolution.

MES has never remained static.

What began with foundational undergraduate programmes gradually expanded into Higher Secondary education, Science, vocational education and skill-focused programmes.

As the needs of students and the world of work changed, MES responded by introducing practical, need-based education through areas such as Management, Information Technology, Commerce, Shipping & Logistics and other emerging fields.

Each new programme reflected a simple principle:

Understand the changing needs of students, society and industry — and evolve with them.

The MES journey is therefore not just a story of programmes added over time.

It is a story of responding to demand, embracing change and continuously expanding the possibilities of education.

And perhaps, that is what the next chapter of the MES journey should be about too - Evolution.
