The highly motivated youngsters on the campus are a constant source of pride. Our Memoranda of Understanding with various international universities are our major strength. They provide for an exchange of students and faculty and encourage joint research projects for the mutual benefit of these universities. Many of our students, who pursue their research projects in foreign universities, bring high quality to their work and esteem to India and have done us proud. The Department of Languages, School of Social Sciences and Languages (SSL) at VIT successfully organized VIT Global Voices: Inter-Language Communication Festival. Under the theme "Celebrating Languages. Connecting Cultures. Empowering Voices," the festival brought together students to showcase their fluency and confidence across multiple foreign and regional languages, including French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, and Tamil.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our Chancellor, Dr. G. Viswanathan, and Vice President, Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, who joined us to witness our students showcase their linguistic skills and cross-cultural expressiveness. Joining them on the dais were Dr. Selvam V., Dean - SSL; Dr. Antoinette Daniel, HoD - Department of Languages, SSL and Dr. Shilpi Gupta & Dr. Nupur Manasi, Coordinators.

From engaging speeches and lively conversational talks to expressive poem recitations and skits, our students truly embodied the spirit of "Different Languages. One World. Countless Possibilities."

VIT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with Desionics Project Designs Pvt. Ltd. to bridge academic excellence with cutting-edge industry practices. Founded in 2006, Desionics is a global multidisciplinary consultancy and technology business empowering stakeholders across Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) and adjacent sectors. This collaboration aims to drive impactful initiatives across core business domains, including Strategic Advisory, Design & Engineering, Digital Transformation, Sustainability & Impact, and Research & Development. Representing Desionics were Mr. Rajesh Varma, Director of Operations and Mr. Rahul Sasikumar, Chief Digital Officer, Desionics and a proud VIT alumnus (B.Tech. Civil Engineering 2016-20).

The MoU exchange took place between Mr. Rahul Sasikumar and Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder & Chancellor, VIT. Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT and Ms. Kadhambari S. Earlier today, the 12-day International Winter School Programme titled "Advanced Smart and Precision Agriculture" commenced at Vellore Institute of Technology. Organized by the Office of International Relations and the Centre for Net Zero Technologies (CNET), led by Directors Dr. R. Seenivasan and Dr. N. Rajasekar, respectively, the program welcomes 15 undergraduate students and 3 faculty members from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT; Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President and Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, Executive Director.

Designed to integrate traditional agricultural practices with modern engineering solutions, the program offers specialized modules on Internet of Things architecture, artificial intelligence applications in precision farming, renewable energy software simulation, live agri-drone field demonstrations at Sevur Farm, and cultural exchange sessions. The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE) hosted NEXAI 2026: Industry Academia Conclave today. Centered on advancing next-generation software development and AI orchestration, the flagship conclave brings together innovators, industry leaders, and researchers to bridge academic excellence with real-world technological solutions.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Kiran Kumar Kanduri, Spacecraft Mission Operations Scientist, UR Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO, Bangalore, who was the Chief Guest. Joining him was Guest of Honour Mr. Karthikeyan S, Agentic AI & Multi-Agent Orchestration, Cognizant Technologies, Chennai.

Our Founder & Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan, Executive Director Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, Vice-Chancellor Dr. V. S. Kanchana Bhaaskaran, and Registrar Dr. T.
