Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha (M.P.) conducted an event of Ranking Announcement of National Drone Dance in association with the International Aviation Games Board, India. The event was conducted on 13.11.2021 at 2:30 PM in Online Mode. The Event was attended by many renowned members in the field of education, like, Dr. K. K. Aggrawal, Chairman, NBA,MoE, GoI, DR. ANIL SAHASRABUDHE, CHAIRMAN AICTE, MoS, GoI, Dr. P. B. Sharma, VC, Amity University, Gurugram, Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta, Vice Chancellor, RGPV Bhopal, Dr. Anil Kothari, Director General, MPCST, Dr. R. Velraj, VC, Anna University, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Choudhary VC, Venkateshwara Open University, Mr.Ashu Gupta, Executive Director, International Aviation Games Board, India, Dr.NiranjanSwaroop, DG, IndSTT, Mr. Vishal Anand, Founder, Shoolini University, HP, Dr. GopalakrishnaPrabhu K, President, Manipal University, Dr. R. K Saxena, Director, SGSITS Indore (M.P.), Dr.Janardan Singh Chauhan, Director, Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha (M.P.), Dr. J. Parashar, Dean Academic, SATI, Dr.Pramod Sharma, Dean Student Welfare, SATI, Er. Praveen Karkare, Registrar, SATI and All HoD’s. The event was also attended by all the faculty members and students of SATI and various institutes across India.
Dr. J. S. Chouhan, Director, SATI, welcomed all the dignitaries and introduced them with the SATI and about Drone Technology. Mr.Ashu Gupta, ED, BIAG, India said about the Aviation Games of India, the various events they are organizing in a calendar year. Their main events are related with Drone Technologies, Youth Affairs and Sports.
In the Ranking Announcement 12 teams from the southern zone, central zone and northern zone were selected. These teams were selected based upon the creativity, completeness, teamwork, likes and comments and subscription of the channel.
Dr.Niranjan sir, asked the students to look at the new avenues of drone application like the underground operation of oil and gas pipelines and survey of complex ground locations
Dr. K. K. Aggrawal Sir, motivated the students by saying that the combination of academics in the form of Drones and sports is learning with fun, students must engage themselves with such technologies and should develop it to the level that we should an Drone Regiment.
Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe pointed out the importance of drones and said that the students must be exposed to a complex environment where they can use their creativity to develop the Drones for finding out the solutions.
Dr. Anil Kothari said that the government of MP is using the Drone technologies to Mapp the Natural Resources and Benefit the society and also said that there are lot of scope for the students in this technology.
Dr. P B Sharma said that the Drone technologies are very dear to him. He at Delhi Technological University designed the first UAV and won the award in the USA for innovative design. He asked the students to include AI and Data Science in that.
Dr.RakeshSaxenasir, said that the Transmission Line fault finding is one of the best applications of Drone Technology. He also motivated the students by asking that they should make the Drones for finding the breakage of railway tracks so that accidents can be avoided.
Dr. R. Velraj said that they are going to start the Drone Corporation in association with the Government of Tamilnadu. He also said that they have got permission from the authority to train the pilots for Drones.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta said that Drone Technologies are the future and with the combination of Machine Learning and AI this technology can touch newer heights.
In the event Dronacharya College got the 1st rank, Ghani Khan college Got the 2nd Rank and PSG tech college got the 3rd rank, MJCET institute got 4th rank, G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering team 1 got 5th rank, C. V. Raman institute got 6th rank, GHRCE Team 2 got 7th rank, MIT World Peace University got 8th rank, Indraprastha College of Engineering got 9th rank, Raj Laxmi Institute of Engineering got 10th rank, TOCH institute got 11th rank and IIMT college got the 12th rank in the competition.
During the event the students of SATI, Vidisha entertained the audience through their creative performances and Ms.Pooja and Ms.Rajni of BIAG told about the youth affairs events that are going to happen in the coming days.
Dr.Ashu thanked all the judges’ involved with the Drone Dance event and Dr.Chouhan thanked all the dignitaries, faculty members and students.
