India observes Engineer's Day on September 15 as a mark of remembrance and tribute to Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, who is known as the father of Indian Engineering because of his enormous contributions and innovations in the field of engineering.
The engineering professionalism teaches you, to differentiate between the factors of life, develops the attitude of finding the best from given resources and most importantly it makes you to live with the fact that every problem has a solution, sometimes with logic and sometimes with hit and trial.

Firstly we would like to thank " Facebook" (Engineers) for allowing us to post this from our houses . The 15th of September is celebrated as Engineer’s Day in memory of India’s engineering icon Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya : a problem solver. This day is not celebrated in his memory but for also all the engineers who have carried out his legacy and made our lives effortless. The purpose of Engineers’ Day is to remind us of the contributions of engineers and engineering marvels in the world.

The "Digital Thermometer" uses an arduino to constantly monitor temperature around the measurement field/range of LM35 and dispalys the same on a 16*2 LCD module.
LM35 is a 3-terminal sensor used to measure surrounding temperature ranging from -55C TO 150C.
