RKM PU Science & Commerce College, Vijayapur Signs MoU with Drona Academy for Exclusive NDA Batch

Vijayapur: In a significant step towards empowering students with career opportunities in the armed forces, RKM PU Science & Commerce College, Vijayapur, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Drona Academy, Vijayapur, to launch an exclusive NDA (National Defence Academy) training program.

The MoU was formally signed by General Secretary Sri Shambhulingayya M. Karpurmath and Managing Director of Drona Academy Sri Kalmesh Asangi, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at nurturing future defence personnel.

This initiative is designed to provide focused guidance and structured training for students aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces. Under this program, students of the PU College will undergo comprehensive NDA preparation alongside their regular academic curriculum.

The training will be conducted within the college campus, ensuring accessibility, discipline, and a conducive environment for both academic and defence-oriented excellence.

Speaking on the occasion, the management highlighted that this collaboration reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering ambition, discipline, and a spirit of national service among students. The partnership with Drona Academy is expected to create a strong foundation for students aiming to serve the nation with pride.

This MoU stands as a milestone in career-oriented education and reinforces the vision of RKM PU College in shaping responsible citizens and future leaders of the country.

ಆರ್‌ಕೆಎಂ ಪಿಯು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ವಿಜಯಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಬಿಳ್ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಜೀವನದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹಂತವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಗಣ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರವಯುತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಂಭುಲಿಂಗಯ್ಯ. ಎಂ. ಕರ್ಪೂರಮಠ ಅವರು ಸಸಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಉಣಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ, ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದರು. ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಋಣ ತೀರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಪೋಷಕರು ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಲ್ಮೇಶ್ ಆಸಂಗಿ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು, ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಸೇವೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗುವಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೇಧಾ ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ, ಡಾ. ಎನ್. ಎಂ. ರುದ್ರಗೌಡರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮಿತ್ ಎಚ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ನಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದವು. ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿದಾಯ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆನಂದಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಪಾಲಿಸಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಹಾರೈಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಗೊಂಡಿತು.
