BLDEA’S Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapura, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 30th September 2026, under the initiative of the NSS Units of the Institute. The event was conducted in collaboration with BLDEA’s Hospital and Research Centre, Vijayapura.
The camp was inaugurated by the Principal in the presence of the Heads of Departments, who appreciated the NSS Units for organizing such a socially impactful program. A dedicated medical team from BLDEA’s Hospital and Research Centre conducted the camp with utmost care and ensured proper medical supervision for all donors.
The event received enthusiastic participation from faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students. A total of 25 units of blood were collected during the camp. Donors were provided with refreshments, and certificates of appreciation were distributed as a token of gratitude.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the NSS Officer, who expressed sincere appreciation to the management, faculty, students, and the medical team for their cooperation and support.

BLDEA’s SSM Polytechnic, Vijayapura, successfully hosted the Tech Talk & Personality Development Program conducted by Toyota Industries Engine India Pvt. Ltd. (TIEI) on 28th & 29th September 2026 for the Final year students of the Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering department.

The sessions were conducted by trainers, Mr. Amith Bandiwadi and Mr. Sudeep K R.

The program aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping Diploma students with essential technical knowledge, practical skills, communication abilities, and professional competencies.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Toyota Industries Engine India Pvt. Ltd. (TIEI) and the trainers, Mr. Amith Bandiwadi and Mr. Sudeep K R, for their valuable time, guidance, and contribution to the students' learning experience.

The programme was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and to acknowledge the valuable contribution of engineers to the development of society and the nation.

BLDE Association’s Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapur celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and staff. The programme commenced with a Photo Pooja in honour of Major Dhyan Chand, followed by a Pledge-Taking Ceremony in the presence of the Principal, HODs, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students. The celebration highlighted the importance of sports and physical activities in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. As part of the “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein” initiative, all NSS volunteers actively participated in various sports and physical activities. The programme encouraged students to engage in regular physical activities while promoting the values of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, fitness, and healthy living. BLDE Association's Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapura, organized an awareness seminar on “Drug Abuse and Its Impact on Youth: Towards a Nasha Mukt Bharat” on 20th August 2026, under the NSS initiatives, in collaboration with Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.
The programme was graced by the presence of our Principal, Shri. P. B. Kalasgond, along with the esteemed Resource Persons Kumar B.K. Prabhu, Kumar B.K. Kalmesh, Kumari B.K. Shruti, and Kumari B.K. Sulochana. The event was attended by the Heads of various Departments, faculty members, and students.
The insightful session focused on creating awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspiring them to make healthy, responsible, and positive choices for a better future.

As part of the program, a valedictory function was held to mark the conclusion of the induction activities. Shri. S.D Javali, Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Vijayapur, graced the occasion as a distinguished guest.
