BLDEA'S Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapura, celebrated the 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar with great respect and dignity on 14th April 2026. The celebration aimed to honor his invaluable contributions to social justice, equality, and the upliftment of society.
The program was attended by the Principal, Shri P. B. Kalasagond, NSS Coordinator Shri Anand Chavan, and faculty members, who paid tribute and remembered the ideals and vision of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

BLDEA’S Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapura, successfully organized a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive by Wipro Aerospace Ltd on April 7, 2026, for Diploma Mechanical and Automobile Engineering students. The event commenced with the warm welcome of Shri Mithilesh, HR Manager, along with the recruitment team, by the placement staff. More than 35 students participated in the online assessment, and shortlisted candidates proceeded to face-to-face interviews. The final selection list will be shared with the Placement Officer shortly. The Principal, HODs, and Placement Cell congratulated all participants for their enthusiastic participation and professionalism.

BLDEA’s Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic successfully concluded the NSS Special Camp with a grand Valedictory Function held on 18th March 2026. The week-long camp, which began on 12th March 2026, came to an end with a sense of achievement, enthusiasm, and fulfillment among the NSS volunteers.
The valedictory program was graced by Chief Guest, Dr. Appanagoud M PATIL, Associate professor Department of Psychiatric Nursing & NSS Programme officer, BLDEA'S Shri B.M.Patil Institute of Nursing Sciences, Vijayapura, The event was presided over by Shri P. B. Kalasagond, Principal BLDEA’S SSM Polytechnic, Vijayapura, along with NSS Program Officer Unit-I Smt. N. D. Solhapur and NSS Program Officer Unit-II Shri Anand Chavan, and various Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students.
The event began with a brief report presentation highlighting the various activities conducted during the camp. NSS volunteers actively participated in community service initiatives such as social awareness programs, cleanliness drives, health awareness campaigns, and other developmental activities, which created a positive impact on society.
The dignitaries appreciated the dedication, discipline, and teamwork shown by the NSS volunteers throughout the camp. In his address, the Principal encouraged students to continue their service to society and uphold the values of responsibility and leadership learned during the camp.
Certificates were distributed to the NSS volunteers in recognition of their active participation and contribution. Some volunteers also shared their experiences, expressing how the camp helped them develop confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, organizers, and participants who contributed to the successful completion of the NSS Special Camp.

BLDEAs Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic successfully inaugurated the NSS Special Camp on 12th March 2026, marking the beginning of a week-long NSS camp scheduled from March 12 to March 18, 2026.
The program was graced by our Chief Guest Dr. Minakshi Patil, Lecturer, Government Women’s Pre-University College, Vijayapura. The event was presided over by Shri P. B. Kalasagond, Principal, along with NSS Program Officer Unit-I Smt. N. D. Solhapur and NSS Program Officer Unit-II Shri Anand Chavan.
The inaugural ceremony was conducted with great enthusiasm in the presence of the Principal, HODs, faculty members, and students from various departments. The camp aims to promote community service, social responsibility, teamwork, and leadership among students.
During the week-long camp, NSS volunteers will actively participate in various social awareness and community development activities, contributing positively to society while gaining valuable life experiences.
