Entrepreneur facilitating ecosystem has been growing across India through the creation of several Incubation centres in the past decade and more.
- Many of them are situated in technological institutions which limit the idea of enterprise to merely technical ones.
- Similarly the ones that emphasise on 'innovation' often endup creating "solutions" for non existent problems.
Auroville is an ecosystem that facilitates green enterprise thinking, not because people set out to by 'green', rather they wanted to be responsible and tread gently in the sacred Earth and pass it down to the next generation with same sense of reverence and care.
So, what can be a better place than Auroville SLI to setup an Green Enterprise facilitation centre?
What do we propose to do through this venture?
1. Provide support to young Green Entrepreneurs with mentoring from Auroville based practitioners
2. Provide support to develop businesses that are Sustainable and help the entrepreneur to develop metrics to measure impacts as multiple bottom-line
3. Create and manage an exclusive pan-India web portal on Green Jobs to connect the job seekers and potential employers; to provide finishing school for green skilled workers
4. To facilitate investments in the Green sector from impact seeking investors

5. Through these build the next generation entrepreneurial leadership in India for a greener future...
