It's August, the warm summer sun is slowly setting in the rain, blame it on the aam ka season but clothes continue to get stained, and it's almost time for schools/colleges to reopen. 15days, to be precise. ( insert a dramatic NAAAAHII )
Cut to : Me a 11year old, who was excited about Rakhi coming, my sister would come into my room and ask what did you plan of gifting me brother, me who passes the things from my mother's hands to my sister's is now saying that "Your gift depends upon how good your rakhi looks".
Peeping through the kitchen window to see what special dishes mom was about to make since I had a sweet tooth.
My rakhi was always about eating lots of sweets & chocolates which I gifted my behan.
Aren't those the days when we really used to have fun without knowing that we would grow old soon.? Glad! Because of Covid-19 I am able to come back to my childhood days where I didn't have to worry about my homeworks or assignments anymore, again peep into the kitchen (my head would get stuck this time, I'm a big fat man now), wait for my mom to make amazing dishes and having loads of time to spend with my sister.. watching Netflix & eating like there is no tomorrow.
Have a story to share about your bonding with rakhi & your siblings. Let us know in the DM.
// *Whispers* The best one would get a chance to feature on our page.//
HAPPY RAKSHABANDHAN (To each & every Bhai-Behan out there)
