Spikes 18 A National level Biennial College Fest
SPIKES 18, a national level technical symposium hosted by Department of Instrument Technology, AUCE (A) conducted biennially. The Symposium aims to provide a platform for budding engineers to create an aura of healthy competitive arena to share their innovative ideas, acquire knowledge on various technical aspects to be on par with growing technol
ogy. Walking down the memory lane, SPIKES has a remarkable history of 14 years. According to the records SPIKES 12 witnessed 3500 students from various colleges across India receiving 1200 papers on various topics including MEMS and NEMS, SENSTRONIC BREAKING, CONTROL SYSTEMS AND SENSOR BASED SYSTEMS. In Spikes '14 and Spikes '16 we took a step forward and initiated robotics workshop, wherein 400 members attended. Various articles from research scholars have been encouraged from the different colleges on topics like ASIC DESIGN, SMART SYSTEMS, EDA TECHNOLOGY, NANO SENSORS. Technical Support has been received from institutes like IEEE, ISSUE, IRATE, ISOI, IE and also from OST. Data from SPIKES 16 says that 1205 papers have been received along with active participation of students from various colleges in poster presentation, ROBOTIC WORKSHOP and INNOVATIONS. SPIKES 18, a 3 days fest promises to intensify flavour of technical prowess by coming up with various events, captivating the interest of Technical enthusiasts.
