Established in the year 2001, Chatra Ramai Pandit Mahavidyalaya is situated in the outskirts of a grove of Eucalyptus and Seal trees in the Lego Gram Panchayat in the Kotulpur Block under the Bishnupur Subdivision of the District of Bankura. The budding institution is the fruit of industry given by some local education enthusiasts who sacrificed their valuable time in raising contributions from pe

ople of various ranks and classes belonging to the locality with the aim of providing higher education to the students of a region neglected and backward, many of whom were first generation learners. Gradually, with aids from the State Government and local bodies the building expanded with its own laboratory and library facilities. Presently, it has an area of 11.3 acres with two separate two-storied buildings, it has a playground flanked on all sides by Eucalyptus trees. This State Government aided institution is affiliated to the University of Burdwan and registered on 17th August, 2007 under Sections 2 (f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act of 1956.

আগামীকাল কলেজে নবিনবরন অনুষ্ঠানে সকল ছাত্রছাত্রীকে কলেজে আসার জন্য আমন্ত্রন জানানো হচ্ছে এবং অনুষ্ঠানের শান্তি সৃঙ্খলা যাতে বজায় থাকে তা দেখার জন্য জানানো হচ্ছে।। অনুষ্ঠানে যাতে কোনো অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা যাতে না ঘটে সে জন্য কোতুলপুর প্রশাসন উপস্থিত থাকবে। দুপুর ২:০০ থেকে থাকবে দিশা অর্কেস্ট্রার এর অনুষ্ঠান।।

প্রথম বর্ষের ক্লাস শুরু হেয়েছে গত ১৩ই জুলাই থেকে য়ারা এখনও জানোনা ক্লাস শুরু হেয়েছে কিনা তাদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এসে নির্দিষ্ট রুটিন নোটিশ বর্ড থকে সংগ্রহ করে নিজনিজ পঠন পাঠন শুরু করার জন্য জানানো হচ্ছে।
