At St. Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, this week’s Wednesday Presentations were delivered by Pharm.D II Year students, who shared insightful presentations on emerging advancements in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.

The session highlighted several innovative medical technologies, including advanced nerve stimulation therapy, bioelectronic treatment approaches for autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, modern minimally invasive ear tube systems for pediatric care, and a blood-based screening test for early detection of colorectal cancer. These topics reflected the growing impact of modern medical devices and diagnostic innovations in improving disease management and patient care.

Also, he had the opportunity to attend the ASCPT Annual Congress in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Our institution is proud to share the recent visit of Chairman, T. Jayapal Reddy Sir and one of our faculty Dr. Praveen Devanandan Sir to the United States for ISPOR Conference held on 3 March, 2026. They visited ISPOR headquarters as representatives of the ISPOR India Telangana Chapter.
They engaged in discussions on promoting and building capacity in HTA, HEOR, and RWE studies, aiming to strengthen pharmacy outcomes research across India and Telangana.
These global perspectives will help enhance Student Learning, Research, and Innovation at our Institution.

Our institution is proud to share the recent visit of Chairman, T. Jayapal Reddy Sir and one of our faculty Dr. Praveen Devanandan Sir to the United States for UNC meet held on 2 March, 2026.
They had a great experience visiting the Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Banks D. Kerr Hall at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina, one of the leading public-funded universities in the US.
Their visit included detailed discussions on collaborative learning, research, and leadership development for students, aimed at bringing global best practices and innovative ideas to our institution.

Today, our college hosted Awareness Program organised by 'Jagruthi Kala Mandali' through songs and speeches highlighting important social issues such as drug abuse among youth, cyber crimes, girl safety, privacy, and responsible social media usage.
The program concluded with short speech by one of our faculty Rajamani mam, a heartfelt vote of thanks by Deepthi mam and followed by a special address by our Respected Principal Dr. Rajeshri Dhurke mam. The session ended with the facilitation of the police team by our HOD Dr. Praveen Devanandan sir.
We sincerely thank the entire Police Department for spreading awareness on such key social issues. It was a thorough learning experience.

As a part of Wednesday presentations our students grabbed an opportunity of delivering presentations on emerging technologies in the healthcare system.
The session gave students an opportunity to explore recent advancements and explain their relevance to current medical and pharmaceutical practice.

Our institution marked a significant milestone with the White Coat Ceremony. The ceremony emphasized the professional meaning of apron as a symbol of service, trust, humanity and dignity. Our Chairman Jaypal Reddy Sir, addressed the students on the importance of Clinical Research and Research Methodologies, highlighting the role of clinical trials and molecule development in advancing healthcare. Our Principal, Dr. Rajeshri Dhurke mam added valuable insights on the importance of the white coat, the need for dedication towards studies, and maintaining discipline, ethics, and sincerity throughout academic and professional life. The event also highlighted about our duty uphold our professional ethical practice in healthcare and accountability. The program concluded with the professional Pharmacy Oath, marking a significance embarkation to the students healthcare journey.
