Hey guys!
Concrete being the world's most used man-made material, gets its power to live from cement, but cement contributes to 7-8 % of world's carbon emission, ever wondered what would lessen that ?
CEA is here with a guest lecturer hovering around this topic, by Dr. Piyush Chaunsali, Assistant Professor in building technology of construction management division, Civil Department at IIT Madras.

Dr.Chaunsali was a postdoctoral associate in the department of materials science and engineering at MIT (USA) broadly basing his interest in processing microstructure-performance relationships of alternative cementitious binders. With his team at developing low-energy pathways to develop low CO2 cement. We are glad to inform you that we can take a peek into their work on "Calcium sulfoaluminate-based binder" so see you all!

One of the things that cannot be bought is, childhood. There is no picture as beautiful as smiling, bright-eyed, happy children; no music as sweet as their clear and ringing laughter. In memory of our beloved Chacha Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. CEA wishes a Happy Children’s Day to the children within all of us. Let us try to rejuvenate the child within us and recoup those moments that we lost while growing up.

The Civil Engineering Association is back and bigger this year. CEA cordially invites all to rejoice the commencement of the association with a grand inaugural ceremony of the academic year 2022-23, encircling some of the significant guests.
CEA is in absolute honor to have Sri D. Anjaneyulu Reddy garu, Chief Engineer, IRSE as our Chief guest. Anjaneyulu sir has been in the field of civil engineering for more than 30 years who has scored 13th rank in ESE-1992 and 49th rank in GATE 1989, holding remarkable contributions in the Indian Railways.
