The School of Allied Sciences, DMIHER (DU), Wardha organized an impactful awareness session on “Drug-Free Youth: Awareness, Law & Responsibility”, highlighting the importance of legal awareness, responsible citizenship, and a drug-free lifestyle among youth.
The session inspired students to understand that while knowing their rights is important, embracing their responsibilities is equally essential for building a safer and healthier society.

“PRARAMBH 2K26 is the beginning of discovering students’ potential and shaping their overall personality,” said DMIHER Pro-VC Dr. Gaurav Mishra.
The School of Allied Sciences, DMIHER, organized PRARAMBH 2K26, a seven-day induction programme for newly admitted BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA students at Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Gaurav Mishra, while Dr. Rama Mundra, Director, Adani Institute of Digital Technology and Management, Ahmedabad, joined as Chief Guest online.
The induction aims to familiarize students with the university’s academic culture, curriculum, student support services, and co-curricular opportunities through various guidance, skill-development, cultural, and awareness activities over seven days. Meritorious students were also felicitated during the inaugural ceremony.

📢 Anti-Ragging Orientation Program Conducted at PRARAMBH 2K26

As part of the induction program PRARAMBH 2K26, the School of Allied Sciences (SAS), DMIHER conducted an Anti-Ragging Orientation Program on 01 September 2026 at the SAS Seminar Hall.

🎓 The session was delivered by Dr. Sudhir Ninawe, Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, JNMC, Wardha, who enlightened newly admitted students about the harmful effects of ragging, institutional policies, student responsibilities, and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.

✅ Attended by Semester I students of BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA, the program reinforced the values of mutual respect, discipline, and zero tolerance towards ragging, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

🌱 Tree Plantation Drive – “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” 🌱

The School of Allied Sciences organized a Tree Plantation Drive on 25th August 2026 to celebrate the birthday of the Hon’ble Chancellor and Chairperson – Adani Foundation, Dr. Preeti Adani Madam.

A total of 71 students of BBA and BCA actively participated in the initiative, spreading the message of environmental conservation, sustainability, and social responsibility.

The programme was graced by Dr. Chhitij Raj, Director, CDOE; Dr. Pankaj Kumar Anawade, Dean Academics, Faculty of Commerce and Management Sciences; Dr. Deepak Sharma, Deputy Director, CDOE; and Ms. Supriya Narad, Dean In-charge, Faculty of Science and Technology, along with the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff.

The initiative successfully inspired students to contribute towards a greener, healthier, and sustainable future through collective environmental responsibility. 🌿🌍

🎯 Placement Drive at School of Allied Sciences, DMIHER

The Faculty of Commerce and Management Sciences, School of Allied Sciences, DMIHER, successfully organized a Placement Drive by Karan Kothari Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. on 14 August 2026 for BBA Semester V and MBA Semester III students.

The drive provided 40 students with a valuable opportunity to interact with industry experts and explore exciting career opportunities. The session was led by Mr. Mandar Kulkarni, Head - HR, and Ms. Swati Nandanwar, Manager - Talent Acquisition, from Karan Kothari Jewellers, Nagpur.
