PRINCIPALS DAY
On 18th June 2025, the entire school community celebrated with great enthusiasm the Principal’s Birthday as Principal’s Day. The grand day commenced with the celebration of a solemn thanksgiving mass celebrated by Rev.Fr.Arul Maran, The Retreat, Yercaud to invoke the blessings of the Almighty on the Birthday celebrant. A grand cultural programme was organized to felicitate Rev.Bro.Arockia Sahayaraj, our Principal. The students and staff expressed their love and gratitude through wonderful dances, speeches and a presentation of cards and bouquets. Each class along with the class teacher came onto the stage to felicitate Bro.Principal to express their gratitude. Rev.Bro.Arockiasamy shared his valuable insights about Rev.Bro.Arockia Sahayaraj for being an incredible, smart working and a vibrant person with more of human touch. The community of brothers felicitated brother with a shawl, a bouquet and a greeting card likewise the members of the staff presented beautiful gift as a grateful gesture. Everybody appreciated and thanked brother for having taking up the new responsibility of sailing the ship of Montfort as its captain in the years to come with his vast experience and dedication. The joyous day concluded with the cake cutting ceremony by wishing Rev.Bro.Arockia Sahayaraj all the very best for the future ventures at Montfort as the Principal and Correspondent.

MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
To mark the beginning of the new academic year with divine blessings and spiritual guidance, Montfort school with over 100 years of rich tradition and excellence conducted the mass of the holy spirit on 6th june. The holy mass was celebrated by Fr. James Sundaraj and was attended by the entire school community, including students, faculty, administrative staff and the management. The celebration commenced with a solemn procession and an introduction, followed by the liturgy of the word. The celebrant in his meaningful homily, emphasized the role of the holy spirit in inspiring wisdom, understanding, role of kindness and strength to overcome the challenges of the new academic year.
Students actively participated in the various parts of the mass, including the readings, intercessory prayers, offertory and choir. The melodious hymns sung by the school choir added a spiritual depth to the event and uplifted the hearts of all present. The mass concluded with a final blessing and the sprinkling of holy water, symbolizing spiritual renewal and protection. The event was a serene and inspiring start to the school year. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration Rev. Fr. James Sundaraj was welcomed and felicitated by Rev. Bro. Arockia Sahayaraj, the Principal.

The school’s welcome assembly was held on 5 June 2025 at 9:00 am. It had a profound impact on the school community. The assembly was a grand success, marking a new beginning for the academic year.
The event brought together students and teachers to welcome the new Principal, Rev. Bro. Arockia Sahaya Raj, The Provincial and other new brothers. The assembly began with a warm welcome note for the dignitaries. The Provincial, Rev. Bro. Dominic Savio, felicitated the Principal with a shawl and bouquet.
New teachers were welcomed and honored with a sash, symbolizing their crucial role in shaping the students' minds. The Provincial delivered an inspiring speech, outlining expectations and goals for the year, emphasizing academic excellence, discipline, and values.
The Principal shared his vision and priorities for the academic year, highlighting key initiatives and areas of focus. The assembly provided a strong foundation for the academic year, showcasing the school's commitment to academic excellence, values, and community building.
Overall, the welcome assembly was a resounding success, marking a new beginning and providing opportunities for fresh startup and new initiatives.
