Bjarkarhlíð, Sigurhæðir, Jafnréttisstofa og fleiri standa að ráðstefnunni: Ný sókn gegn kynbundnu ofbeldi og heimilisofbeldi. Ráðstefnan verður haldin fimmtudaginn 25. maí kl. 8:30–17:00 á Hótel Natura í Reykjavik og föstudaginn 26. maí kl. 9:00–12:00 í stofu HT105 á Háskólatorgi í Háskóla Íslands. Ráðstefnugjald er 5.000 kr. og innifelur hádegisverð á fimmtudeginum.

CHALLENGING COLONIALITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Sue E. Gollifer, lektor við Menntavísindasvið er fyrirlesari næsta hádegisfyrirlestraraðar RIKK – Rannsóknastofnunar í jafnréttisfræðum á vormisseri 2023 en röðin er tileinkuð afnýlenduvæðingu.
Fyrirlesturinn nefnist „Challenging Coloniality in Higher Education. The Experiences and Perspectives of Students“ og verður haldinn kl. 12.00 fimmtudaginn 27. apríl í fyrirlestrasal Þjóðminjasafns Íslands. Fyrirlesturinn verður fluttur á ensku.

Sue E. Gollifer is the seventh lecturer of the RIKK – Institute for Gender, Equality and Difference at the University of Iceland lecture series on decolonialism in spring 2023. Sue’s lecture is titled “Challenging Coloniality in Higher Education. The Experiences and Perspectives of Students” and will be held at 12–13 on Thursday 27 April, at the National Museum of Iceland.
