The 75 ft fishing boat M/V DOMINIC FRANCIS operated from New Brunswick in Canada had a pair of Mercury 2,0r semi-pelagic doors of 4,0 sqm on Redfish in October. The Mercury doors were rigged to operate “off the seabed”, with zero direct impact generating the total spread from the doors design only.
After few tows, skipper Dominic Gionet was very pleased with the performance, reported far greater catch and more than 20% increased spread compared to his previous 5,2 sqm doors.

First day of testing a pair of 1,4 sqm Pluto fishing doors on the 15,1 meters fb Ariadna Primera operating from Cambrils in Catalonia. Skipper Salvador very happy with the first trip catch.
