Long-standing partners from Dalian Ocean University paid GRÓ FTP a visit last week to discuss ongoing and future cooperation.

The delegation, representing one of Northeast China’s leading fisheries research institutes, explored recent developments in Icelandic fisheries and aquaculture.

The group was led by Professors Ding Jun, Li Baosheng, and Wang Wei, and also included former FTP fellow Xing Kun and prospective fellow Zhang Qian.

A graduation ceremony for GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme’s 26th cohort of fellows will be held on Wednesday 21st of May. The ceremony will take place at the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, Fornubúðum 5, Hafnarfjörður, from 14:50. Concurrently, a poster exhibition showcasing the final projects of the graduating fellows will be on display at the same location.

On Tuesday, February 18, the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute in Iceland buzzed with energy as GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme fellows gathered for an afternoon seminar that promised both inspiration and a fresh perspective on global fisheries projects.
