🌿 Qualità dell'aria e tecnologie innovative: a Beinasco il 3° incontro europeo del progetto RESONANCE!

📍 Dal 29 settembre al 1° ottobre, insieme al Comune di Beinasco, abbiamo ospitato il 3° Exchange of Experience del progetto RESONANCE Interreg Europe, finanziato dal programma Interreg Europe.

🌍 Un'occasione di confronto tra partner europei, esperti e stakeholder per approfondire il potenziale dei sensori intelligenti nel monitoraggio ambientale e condividere esperienze e soluzioni innovative.

🔎 Le attività hanno permesso di conoscere da vicino l'azione pilota di Beinasco e di approfondire le tecniche di monitoraggio della qualità dell'aria attraverso le visite ai laboratori di Arpa Piemonte e al Politecnico di Torino.

💡 Non sono mancati momenti di confronto e lavoro di gruppo, come il workshop "Build Your Smart Pole", durante il quale i partner hanno proposto possibili applicazioni delle tecnologie nei propri territori, individuando opportunità di miglioramento delle politiche regionali.

🤝 Tre giornate ricche di spunti, che hanno messo al centro la collaborazione e lo scambio di conoscenze per affrontare le sfide ambientali delle nostre città!

🚆🇪🇺 Mobilità sostenibile e cooperazione europea: TenConnect fa tappa ad Alba!

Il 16 e 17 settembre 2026, il Comune di Alba, in collaborazione con LAMORO Development Agency, ha ospitato il 3° Exchange of Experience Event del progetto TenConnect, finanziato dal programma Interreg Europe.

📍 Due giornate di incontri, confronto e visite di studio in Piemonte, durante le quali abbiamo condiviso esperienze e buone pratiche con i partner europei per migliorare la mobilità sostenibile e rafforzare i collegamenti tra le reti di trasporto locali, regionali ed europee.

Tra i temi e le esperienze al centro dell'incontro:

🔵 Le strategie di mobilità sostenibile del Comune di Alba, tra cui il Piano Urbano della Mobilità Sostenibile (PUMS) e il progetto partecipativo AlbAttiva;

🔵 Le opportunità offerte dall'integrazione tra mobilità urbana, trasporto pubblico, ciclabilità e rete ferroviaria, anche in relazione alla rete transeuropea dei trasporti TEN-T;

🔵 Le visite di studio all'Hub di Tecnologia e Innovazione Ferroviaria di Alstom a Savigliano e al Politecnico di Torino, dedicate al ruolo della ricerca e dell'innovazione nello sviluppo di sistemi di trasporto più sostenibili e interconnessi.

🤝 L'incontro ha rappresentato un'importante occasione per valorizzare le esperienze del territorio piemontese, confrontarle con quelle degli altri partner europei e raccogliere nuovi spunti per migliorare le politiche regionali della mobilità.

🇪🇪 PROTECH 2024 | 4th Partner Meeting & Seminar in Estonia!

On 14–15 October, we participated in the 4th Partner Meeting and Seminar of the Interreg Europe PROTECH 2024 project in Estonia, together with the Comune di Acqui Terme.

🏛️ Two days dedicated to the preventive conservation of Europe's cultural heritage, bringing together project partners to exchange experiences, explore good practices and strengthen international cooperation.

📍 Day 1 – Naissaar Island: Participants visited cultural and military heritage sites, exploring the challenges of preserving and managing complex heritage landscapes.

📍 Day 2 – Estonian War Museum, Viimsi: The seminar focused on integrated approaches to heritage conservation, from historic landscapes and buildings to individual objects and artworks.

🤝 Through presentations of Estonian good practices, interactive workshops and discussions, partners explored how successful conservation approaches can be adapted and transferred to other European regions.

💡 A valuable opportunity to share knowledge, exchange perspectives and work together towards more effective and sustainable cultural heritage conservation!

A big thank you to our Estonian partners for hosting the meeting and to all participants for these two inspiring days!

🇮🇹 From Piedmont to Europe: discovering EPICO! 🏛️

Within the Interreg Europe PROTECH2024 project, LAMORO has identified EPICO – European Protocol in Preventive Conservation as its first Good Practice from Piedmont.

🏛️ EPICO is a European methodology for the preventive conservation of collections in historic residences, where buildings, interiors and collections form a single heritage environment.

Through inspection, condition assessment and risk prioritisation, EPICO helps identify deterioration factors, prioritise preventive measures and support better-informed use of resources.

🌍 The methodology is transferable to different heritage contexts and has been tested in several European royal residences, including the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi in Piedmont. In 2018, EPICO received the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Award – Grand Prix in the Research category. 🏆🇪🇺

🤝 An important reference for this Good Practice is the Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale", one of the scientific partners involved in EPICO’s development and application.

For PROTECH2024, EPICO shows how risk assessment, monitoring and shared methodologies can support a more preventive and sustainable approach to cultural heritage conservation. 🌱

🌍 From good practices to shared learning: discovering PROTECH 2024

What can we learn from the experiences already working in different European regions? And how can these experiences inspire new approaches to protecting our cultural heritage? 🏛️💡

One of the key elements of PROTECH 2024 is the identification and exchange of Good Practices in preventive conservation and cultural heritage management.

Throughout the project, partners have been identifying experiences from their territories that can provide valuable knowledge and inspiration for other regions. These practices are not selected simply because they are interesting examples, but because they offer relevant experience, evidence of results and potential for learning and adaptation within the partnership.

🤝 The aim is to go beyond simply presenting these initiatives. Through study visits, workshops, stakeholder discussions and knowledge exchange, partners will analyse how these approaches work in different contexts, what lessons can be learned from them, and which elements could potentially be adapted to other territories.

📚 Over the coming weeks, we will be showcasing these Good Practices one by one.
Each week, we will explore a different experience, looking at:
🔹 The challenge it addresses
🔹 The approach or solution developed
🔹 The results and added value it has generated
🔹 The lessons learned
🔹 Its potential to inspire or be adapted by other European regions

This series will take us across different territories and perspectives, highlighting how innovation, technology, preventive approaches and stakeholder involvement can contribute to more resilient and sustainable cultural heritage management.

Because the value of a good practice does not end where it begins — it grows when knowledge is shared.
