The International Master in Horticultural Sciences (IMaHS) is run by 8 universities: Alma Mater Studiorum- Bologna (Italy) (UNIBO), Technical University of Munich (Germany) (TUM), the University for Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna (Austria) ( BOKU), the Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary) (COR), the International Centre for Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences (France

) (Montpellier SupAgro), Institut supérieur des sciences agronomiques, agroalimentaires, horticoles et du paysage (France) (Agrocampus Ouest), the Humboldt-University of Berlin (Germany) (HU) and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy, FUB). The objective of the Master course is to form professional figures able to work in global horticultural markets. The overall aim of project is form highly qualified graduates able to deal with challenges of modern horticulture and to face the rapid changes occurring at European and worldwide levels. To achieve this goal IMaHS exploits the complementary expertises of the 8 partners, the unique integrated structure, where all the semesters are jointly offered by two universities, the structural students and scholars mobility and the research-based master thesis. IMaHS graduates will be highly specialized, but provided with a wide background of knowledge, and, an integrated and holistic approach to problem solving issues. control of production & protection systems; 3. fruit quality & safety control & management 3. storage & supply management systems; 4. value enhancement of genetic diversity in breeding programs, 5. nursery & seed company management; 6. agri-food marketing & management in horticultural companies, 7. production & exploitation of new active ingredients from medicinal plants, 8. design & management of urban horticulture, 9. tropical & Mediterranean horticulture. Admission requirements
To attend a second-level degree course profitably in International Horticulture it is necessary to have acquired:
-basic scientific disciplines concerning technological and economical aspects related to vegetable crops and fruit tree production;
-basic knowledge of genetics and biology;
-basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, hydraulic and rural constructions;
-basic knowledge of plant protection from pest and diseases;
-role and meaning of microorganisms in environmental sections;
-basic knowledge of mathematic, physic and chemistry.

1.- a degree in one of the following classes, or a certificate of study obtained and recognized as being suitable:
ex-D.M.270:
Classe L 25 Scienze e Tecnologie agrarie e forestali
ex-D.M. 509/99:
Classe 20-Scienze e Tecnologie agrarie, agroalimentari e forestali,
previous four-year University system
Laurea in Scienze Agrarie V.O
Foreign student must have a Bachelor of Science of 180 ECTS in study program of Life Science (i.e. Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry and Biology)
2. a B2 level of English proficiency

The students will be selected for the admission to the course according to the criteria and methods described in the Erasmus Mundus Application approved by EACEA (emmcawcrit_2012_en 28-4-2012) and attached hereby.

vi segnaliamo che è ora disponibile on-line il bando Unibo Azione 2 A.A. 2014/15.



Il bando Unibo Azione 2 (italiano / inglese) prevede 32 borse di studio per studenti internazionali che si immatricoleranno a corsi di Laurea/Laurea Magistrale/Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico nell'A.A. 2014/15.

Le borse sono assegnate in base ai punteggi dei test SAT e GRE, e sono pari a 11.000 € lordi. Scadenza: 31/03/2014.



Sarà inoltre pubblicato in maggio il bando Unibo Azione 2 Rinnovi, per gli studenti già assegnatari di borse Unibo Azione 2 per l'a.a. 2013/14.
