BITZ è un spazio fisico in cui si fabbricano velocemente modelli e prototipi, dove input digitali si trasformano in output materiali, anche grazie alle nuove tecnologie di produzione. BITZ è uno spazio sociale di condivisione e di collaborazione, aperto alla città, ad una pluralità di persone, studenti delle facoltà unibz e delle scuole, privati cittadini, inventori, aziende, profes

sionisti delle arti creative, artigiani e, infine, makers. Le attività organizzate e promosse da BITZ sostengono e diffondono la cultura del fare e del processo, attraverso un forte utilizzo di nuove tecnologie. Chi frequenterà BITZ potrà imparare a realizzare oggetti intelligenti autonomamente, condividere con altri passioni e progetti legati alla fabbricazione o alla riparazione di oggetti. Im BITZ können Modelle und Prototypen produziert werden und dank neuer Produktionstechnologien aus digitalen Informationen unmittelbar materielle Objekte entstehen. BITZ steht den unterschiedlichsten Nutzerinnen und Nutzern als Ort für kooperative Projektarbeit offen: der Stadt, den Studierenden der unibz sowie Schülerinnen und Schülern, Privatpersonen, Erfindern, Unternehmerinnen, Freiberuflern, Künstlerinnen, Handwerkern und natürlich den Makers. Im BITZ werden Aktivitäten zur Förderung kreativen Schaffens durch einen gezielten Einsatz neuer Technologien organisiert. Vor allem aber können sie ihre Projekte und die Leidenschaft am Tüfteln und Reparieren ausleben und mit Gleichgesinnten teilen.

On Saturday we opened DIY Material Kit Exhibition. Students of Design & Materials course of Aart van Bezooijen developed their own biomaterials and carefully designed DIY kits that will guide you through the entire material creation process and practical learning. 🧠

Check the exhibition and learn how natural and recycled materials can be the starting point of creating something new 💡 We are showcasing over a dozen fun and hands-on activities that (re)connect us with bio-based materials and the culture of making. 💪

📆 The exhibition is open until 31.03.2026 during the opening hours of fablab.

FILO ROSSO - ROTER FADEN - Crafting at the cinema! What a fantastic event, full of creativity, thank you . A full audience and sounds of knitting needles and crochet hooks working non-stop in the background. For us, a place that promotes a passion for craftsmanship and handwork, it was a moving moment.

Thank you for your trust; being a partner of this event was an honour. Our mission is to spread the spirit of makers everywhere, also in the cinema. Before the film, Barbara Koniecka presented our space to a wider audience, and we are happy to welcome new members who have joined the community of members.

Hello Makers, happy New Year! 💥 We wish you a lot of creativity and energy to work on your projects 💪

How to star a year well? Come to the introductory course, THIS FRIDAY. The course takes only 2 hours, you learn how fablab works, get a general introduction to the machine, and learn how to work respecting the safety rules. But most importantly, you get access to space, tools and machines! 🛠️
