A game-changing announcement for the young people of Brescia.

Our Dean was interviewed by the Giornale di Brescia on a landmark piece of news: Swiss School of Management Brescia has been authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to confer American academic degrees - Bachelor’s and Master’s - with full legal standing in the United States. SSM is one of the few institutions in Italy to have received this official recognition from the U.S. government.

In practical terms, a student enrolled at our campus can earn a U.S.-accredited degree, recognized across the entire United States, without ever leaving Brescia — with internships, project work, and classes taught by local industry professionals all built into the program.

Today, our Dean was at the Hotel Vittoria in Brescia, in the middle of the WRO 2026 Italian National Final (World Robot Olympiad).

Hundreds of students from across Italy competing in robotics, programming, and teamwork, inside a ballroom with crystal chandeliers. The theme was “Robots Meet Culture,” and that tension between two worlds was felt in every corner of the room.

For SSM, being there was not a symbolic gesture. Among coaches, teachers, researchers, and organisers lies an ecosystem of people who work every day on the technical and scientific development of the next generation.

Exactly the kind of connections a business school should actively seek out, not wait for them to arrive on their own.

What does Business Intelligence look like in real life?

Our BBA 2 students found out at , one of Brescia’s most established industrial companies, known for its expertise in cookware and production systems, stepping inside a company that operates on an international scale while staying deeply connected to our territory.

With professors and Imelda Hertono, they experienced a different kind of lesson: listening to an entrepreneur, understanding market dynamics, and seeing how strategy translates into action.

They had the opportunity to attend a one-hour session led by Pedrini himself, sharing his vision and strategic choices, followed by a lecture from the Commercial Director for Asia & the Americas, focused on international markets and operations.

The highlight? Hearing directly from those who lead and grow the business every day.

The academic collaboration between SSM Brescia and .mongolia is also opening a new step in the development of ACCA-oriented education within the SSM network.

Flavio Faustini is the new Dean of Swiss School of Management – Brescia & Milan.

Part of SSM since its very first year, he approaches his role hands-on: in the classroom with students and faculty, in labs, and through project-based work.

His mission is clear, to cultivate critical thinking, practical analysis, and a learning method grounded in real-world experience, not just textbooks.

During our International Mediation & Dispute Resolution Conference, organized in partnership with , more than 50 law and management students competed across five rounds on a cross-border case involving AI and intellectual property rights.

Working in teams, they navigated cultural differences, legal ambiguity, and commercial pressures, ultimately developing collaborative and sustainable mediation strategies.

The level of professionalism, creativity, and empathy demonstrated throughout the competition was truly outstanding.
