The event marked an important moment of public dissemination and reflection on the results of BullyBuster2, a PRIN project funded by , focused on the prevention of and through an interdisciplinary approach integrating , , , and .

Coordinated by the UniCa - Università degli Studi di Cagliari (PI Gian Luca Marcialis), the consortium involves the Universities of Naples Federico II, Foggia, and Bari “Aldo Moro. The event brought together researchers, institutional representatives, educators, judicial authorities, and experts to discuss the protection of minors, the application of cyberbullying legislation, and the ethical governance of .

The video is published on the newly launched BullyBuster Research Center YouTube channel. Created in connection with the final event, the channel already features content dedicated to the BullyBuster project and will continue to grow as a reference point for research insights, tools, discussions, and educational materials on the fight against bullying and cyberbullying.

On 16 January 2026, the Interuniversity Research Center BullyBuster will host the final event “BullyBuster 2 – From Research to Action Against Bullying and ”.

The event will showcase the key results of BullyBuster2, an interdisciplinary research initiative combining , , , and social sciences to address and . From research outcomes to ethically grounded AI-based tools, the programme highlights how scientific innovation can support the protection of minors and schools.

After the institutional opening session, the Director of the Center and Principal Investigator of BullyBuster2, Prof. Gian Luca Marcialis, together with Prof. Donatella Curtotti, Prof. Carlo Sansone, and Prof. Donato Impedovo, will illustrate the research pathway developed within the project. Their contributions will focus on the design of innovative, ethically grounded AI-based tools for the study and prevention of bullying and cyberbullying.

The agenda includes contributions from leading academics, institutional and judicial stakeholders, and a live demonstration of the tools developed within the BullyBuster framework.
