The conference "Nature for Sustainable Cities: Planning Cost-Effective and Just Solutions for Urban Issues" takes place next week (February 26th and 27th) at the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II Diarc Unina
As the closing event of the NATSOLIS project, contributions will present the current research and applied resarch in the modelling, planning and design of Nature-Based Solutions for contemporary urban issues.
We will have the priviledge of having two great keynote speakers with extensive experience on NBS in urban contexts:
Prof. Silvana Sabatino (University of Bologna)
On the role of NBS in risk mitigation under climatic change conditions
Prof. Weiqi Zhou (State Key Laboratory of Urban and Regional Ecology at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences In Beijing)
Urban trees for heat mitigation and adaptation: A social ecological perspective
The Conference is co-organized by the Partners of the Project, Università degli Studi di Catania , the Università di Napoli "Federico II" and Università degli Studi di Salerno
