Oggi il team di DEFENS ha trascorso un’altra intensa giornata in campagna, questa volta insieme agli studenti dei corsi di Laurea Triennale e Magistrale in Scienze Geologiche dell’Università degli Studi del Sannio.
Ci siamo spostati tra Pennapiedimonte, per la visita al geosito nel quale si osserva l’architettura stratigrafica del margine settentrionale della Piattaforma Carbonatica Apula, e Roccacasale, per scoprire insieme la faglia del Morrone da un punto di vista tettonico e geochimico.
Giornate così ci ricordano quanto sia bello condividere la geologia sul campo: tra confronto, collaborazione e curiosità. Felici di aver contribuito, anche solo un po’, al percorso di crescita di questi studenti. ⛰️🥾🌄
Today the DEFENS team spent another intense day in the field, this time together with the students of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree courses in Geological Sciences at the Università degli Studi del Sannio.
We moved between Pennapiedimonte, for the visit to the geosite where the stratigraphic architecture of the northern margin of the Apulian Carbonate Platform can be observed, and Roccacasale, to discover together the Morrone fault from a tectonic and geochemical point of view.
Days like these remind us how beautiful it is to share geology in the field: through discussion, collaboration, and curiosity. Happy to have contributed, even just a little, to the growth journey of these students. ⛰️🥾🌄
