Ultra-fast Total Scattering and PDFs at the European XFEL through a huge collaboration across Europe!
Using a tilted detector at the HED instrument, we have achieved high-quality ultra-fast total scattering and pair distribution function data using an X-ray free-electron laser on a range of samples, including crystalline, nanocrystalline, and amorphous solids, liquids, and clusters in solution.
Additionally, we perform a variety of structural analyses and compare our data to synchrotron measurements.
