On 27 May, the Cremona Campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro CuoreUniversità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore hosted the JOB DAY.

For the students of the Master of Science in Agricultural and Food Economics, the day represented a particularly meaningful step: an opportunity to introduce themselves, present their profiles and put into practice the skills developed throughout their academic journey.

Economic expertise, market analysis, attention to agri-food supply chains, data interpretation, and a strong focus on sustainability and innovation: the Job Day allowed AFE students to bring these competencies into concrete conversations with companies, managers and recruitment professionals.

💼 The individual “speed interviews” were not only a first point of contact with possible career paths, but also an opportunity to better understand which skills are currently valued by the labour market and how to shape one’s own professional development.

Thank you to all the organisations that contributed to creating a space for exchange, listening and career orientation.

🌟 The day then ended with a shared celebration, marking the close of the academic year and the community of students, faculty and professionals that brings each educational journey to life.

The seminars were held in collaboration with Iride, a digital agency specialized in data-driven strategies for national and international brands, and were led by Angelo Antonio Annibaldis, Co-founder and CRO Specialist, and Ludovica Shareese Montesanti, Senior Advertiser & Project Manager.

💡 In the 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 course, taught by Professor Claudio Soregaroli within the Master of Science in Agricultural and Food Economics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore - Cremona Campus, students work every year on a project developed in collaboration with a company from the food sector.

This is not a simple classroom simulation. The company partner provides real data on sales, consumers and distribution, asking students to turn them into analysis, strategic choices and operational proposals.

This year, the was organized with cameo Italia, part of the Dr. Oetker, and invited students to address a concrete business task: 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲̀𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹, 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱.

🥇 The winning team was composed of Mario Amabile, Gaia Boldori, Chiara Ciotti, Davide Dell’Innocenti, Kimi Morandi and Giorgio Scandali.

They stood out for the 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 and for the depth of their operational plan, which integrated 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝗣𝗜𝘀.

This result clearly shows the value of a learning experience in which Italian and international students work together on real business challenges, learning how to read the market, interpret data and build sustainable proposals for companies in the food system.

Congratulations to the winning team, and thank you to cameo spa for making this applied learning experience possible.
