The International Award "Domus Restoration and Conservation - Historical pre-existences and architecture was established in 2010 through the collaboration between Fassa Bortolo and the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara.

For ten editions, the Prize has promoted a vision of restoration that recognizes conservation as a cultural necessity, celebrating architectural works that enhance historic buildings while respecting their authenticity through thoughtful and conscious design.

Held annually, the Prize alternates between two categories: Completed Works, dedicated to outstanding restoration projects, and Thesis Projects, recognizing the most deserving academic proposals.

An international award that continues to highlight excellence in restoration, fostering a dialogue between history, architecture, and the future.
