This weeks with Marily!!
“Why AOIl? I originally did not intend to join any sorority when I started my first year of college. However, I rushed because a few people told me it was a good way to make friends, and in the end, I didn’t have to join any sorority if I didn’t like it right? Well obviously, that failed. I mean look at where I ended up.... My why AOIl has everything to do with the wonderful girls I met during rush. They stole my heart and never gave it back nor do I want them to. AOII was the last sorority I met during rush on the first day. When I sat down to talk with the girls we immediately clicked, and I developed a huge friend crush on them. They had the same interests, humor, drive and personality I had. I knew I wanted to be an AOlI then. When I joined AOII and got to meet everyone else, that feeling of falling in love only intensified. I can without a doubt say that these girls have changed my life. They have made me more confident in myself, I know I always have a friend if I need someone, they make my stomach hurt from laughing, their kindness and generosity knows no bounds, and I can no longer imagine a life without these girls.
They inspire me every day, and I can only hope that I am reciprocating even 1% of everything they have ever given me in this last year. If you want to rush, please go ahead and do so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I hope whoever is reading this finds their forever home at whatever sorority makes them feel the way I feel about AOII, but I earnestly hope that home will be AOII. If it is, just know we already love you and are welcoming you with open arms.
