Polimi Global Student Association (PoliGSA) is an official Socio-cultural organization formed in 2012, run by students for students, which welcomes Italian and International students.
•What are our objectives? to plan and executes a myriad of cultural and social activities, which can enrich your free time, to make university a “home away from home” for our students, and to provide extracurricula
r opportunities for personal/professional development.Offering all students of Polimi a meaningful, personal experience as active members of this community, we provide opportunities for leadership and student involvement and community life by develop soft skills : leadership skills, work in team , communicate more effectively with people, Speak well and with authority in public
•How do we work: group organization
regular meetings twice a month to propose, decide, plan and organize activities for both the association's members and the rest of the student body.(based on decided agenda)
To provide venues to create, organize and execute social and cultural activities for the students of our campus, such as: tours, attending concerts, movie nights, exciting lectures, community volunteer work, talent show, trips and once in a while, a great party! Events will be followed by creating committees, communicating through page also meetings. (in a multicultural atmosphere, practice the spoken language English)
Voted by members, we have Constitution to follow signed by rector of campus. In a democratic way, Nominations and voting on management board takes place once a year,
•Who can participate? Only PoliGSA members may attend the regular meetings. However, many of our events and activities will be opened to all students of POLIMI LECCO and POLIMI
•How can non-members find out about PoliGSA's events or activities? You can check on this webpage or on the Campus Life and Student Resources bulletin board, situated to the right of the elevator, on the first floor.
•How can I become a member of PoliGSA? Next membership period will open next September (2013). Make sure you attend the first meeting to find out how to proceed. Don't be left out!!!
*We invite all motivated students to become members before membership is closed for this year (Nov 7th 2013). Next open membership period will be in Oct 2014)
