We had the pleasure of presenting the results of our ongoing research on Kiln 6438, found in the potters’ workshop of Area K (Ceramico) at Mozia, during the Annual Meeting of The Ceramic Petrology Group held in Ljubljana, Slovenia 🤩.
Efraim Andreadakis and co-authors shed light on the kiln’s life cycle through the lens of geoarchaeological and palaeobotanical data, offering new insights into the potters’ practices in the Ceramico workshop 🏺.
This research is part of The Potter and the City project, funded by Gerda Henkel Stiftung, in collaboration with the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen and the Università degli Studi di Palermo🤝.
Many thanks to the organisers and all participants for the engaging discussions 🙏.
