The Consulate General of the Philippines has thrown its support the initiative of Filipino university students to promote the spirit of Bayanihan through an art installation project in Milan next month. Members of the Kubo Kollective who are architecture students from the Polytechnic University of Milan presented Project Emerge to Consul General Elmer G. Cato during a visit to the Consulate on 12 April 2024. Project Emerge is an “architectural manifesto” that involves the installation at the Anfiteatro Martesana in Milan of 25 structures inspired by rooster huts in the Philippines. The installation, which will be on display from 21 to 26 May 2024, seeks to depict how members of the Filipino Community in Milan are finding ways to work together in the spirit of bayanihan. Consul General Cato said the Consulate will be supporting the project as it is aligned with its call for unity and collaboration among kababayan.

Susuportahan po ng Konsulado Panlahat ng Pilipinas ang inisyatiba ng mga Pilipinong estudyante sa unibersidad na isulong ang diwa ng Bayanihan sa pamamagitan ng isang art installation project sa Milan sa susunod na buwan. Pinresenta po ng mga miyembro ng Kubo Kollective na mga mag-aaral sa arkitektura mula sa Polytechnic University of Milan ang Project Emerge kay Consul General Elmer G. Cato sa kanilang pagbisita sa Konsulado noong 12 Abril 2024. Ang Project Emerge ay isang "architectural manifesto" kung saan po ilalagay ang 25 istrukturang inspirasyon ng mga kubo ng tandang sa Pilipinas. Ang installation, na ipapakita mula 21 hanggang 26 May 2024 sa Anfiteatro Martesana sa Milan, ay naglalayong ilarawan kung paano naghahanap ng mga paraan ang mga miyembro ng Filipino Community sa Milan upang magtulungan sa diwa ng bayanihan. Sinabi ni Consul General Cato na susuportahan ng Konsulado ang proyekto dahil ito ay naaayon sa panawagan nito para sa pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ng ating mga kababayan.

After these years of trying different types of desserts I finally decided what products I want to share with all of you, but especially I understood the purpose of why I even started “YSB”. I will use this platform to share my sweet creations like I’ve always do, engage with you a little more and save enough money to have my own place. My dream since I was a child was to open my bakery, and now more than ever I’m motivated to chase that dream! So stay with me as I will share more of this projects of mine, it will take some time but it we will make it happen. 👩🏻‍🍳

Before calling this smol bizz "Your Sweet Bento" I started with the name "Craving Satisfied", I know that it seems like a basic and common name but for me it had such a great meaning. At my young age I loved to prepare sweets for family and friends, and I studied at a Pastry School to improve my skills with the goal of sharing my treats to even more people. So basically I just want to SATISFY all your SWEET CRAVINGS and prepare affordable desserts that you can eat in any moment of the day! Now you may ask me "why are you called ‘Your Sweet Bento?’", but I'll answer that question on a different post… 👀

Here’s our Baking Schedule for the month of December, i’ll list you down here some details:

👩🏻‍🍳 BAKING DAY:
What I mean with “baking day” is that I bake the dough of cookies or tray of brownies in that certain day. So you can choose to take your sweet treats on that same day or in the other days, the important thing is that you see when I bake them so that you can organise your goodies-storage

✈️ BREAK TIME
I’m taking an Anniversary Holiday with my bf so I won’t be available from Dec 17 to 20, I’ll accept orders in the other days you see available

🎄HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

• 24 only accepting morning and pick up orders
• Please understand that I have to celebrate too with my loved ones, but I will try my best to satisfy all your sweet cravings! ❤️
