PlanES continues investing in the development of more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities.
Last week, the PlanES Project -financed by the and led by the .dastu.polimi of , was in Bogotá, Colombia, participating in the “Urban Finance and Land Policy: Concepts, Games, and Simulators” course, held within the framework of the Urban Development Olympics and organized by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Universidad de los Andes.
The initiative brings together public sector officials and academic representatives from more than 15 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean to explore innovative approaches to territorial planning, land management, and urban development financing.
For PlanES, this represents a valuable opportunity for international learning and exchange, strengthening the capacities needed to design and implement urban revitalization initiatives in El Salvador’s historic centers. Discussions on land policy instruments and land value capture mechanisms will contribute to a deeper understanding of the tools required to finance and support long-term urban transformation processes.
Through dialogue with experts, institutions, and practitioners from across the region, PlanES continues to promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and international cooperation in support of sustainable urban development.
