On Thursday, a special event was held to discuss Alberto Andronico's latest book, " 'Protect Me from What I Want'. Cinque lezioni sul carteggio tra Einstein e Freud". Damiano Canale was among the discussants.

Last week Damiano Canale gave a speech for PhD students in Maastricht about counterfactual reasoning, thought experiments, and other ways imagination can be used in legal research. The idea that Canale wanted to pass is that studying law can actually be a pretty creative thing to do. And he did it ranging from Chinese rooms and ticking-bomb scenarios to Herculean judges, cave explorers, and Star Trek jurisprudence.
