UST STILL PH’S 4TH BUT SLIPS TO 951-1000 IN QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS
The University of Santo Tomas maintains its spot as the Philippines’ fourth-best university despite falling to a lower bracket in the 2027 QS World University Rankings.
UST falls within the 951–1000 band, down from the 851–900 bracket in last year’s edition.
The University of the Philippines remains the country’s top-ranked institution despite dropping to 402nd place from 362nd previously. It is followed by Ateneo de Manila University (581st) and De La Salle University (751–760), which have both dropped in the global rankings.
Adamson University follows UST in the rankings, placing in the 1201–1400 bracket, lower than its previous 1001–1200 band.
QS results showed that all ranked universities in the Philippines declined in the latest edition, a result that it attributed to higher global competition.
