Bocconi Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Association (BBCA) is a student association at Bocconi, and its main aim is to create a platform for collaboration among students interested in the world of Blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are the first and the far most known examples of usable and working Blockchain technologies. Young intellectuals are the best suited for exploring new paradigms and critically looking at existing institutions to find room for practical improvement. Currently businesses, banks, and large organizations are already exploring these technologies to see how they can implement them in their sectors. By creating a platform on campus to discuss these topics, the BBCA supports the academic pursuits of students investigating this technology.

One of us just launched. 🚀

Our Vice President Giacomo Dotto is a co-founder of unflat, and as of today it is officially live on the App Store and Google Play.

unflat is the European yield-earning app for everyone. It opens the door to DeFi without asking anyone to learn crypto first: you add money by card, Apple Pay or bank transfer, it generates yield every second, and every transaction is recorded on-chain, where anyone can check it.

At BSBA we spend a lot of time talking about what blockchain can do outside the classroom. Watching a member of our board turn it into a product you can download is the best proof of what this community is for.

April marked a partial recovery for digital assets, with Bitcoin and Ethereum posting gains as geopolitical risk eased and institutional flows improved. At the same time, macro conditions remained dominant: oil-driven inflation, a divided Fed, and uncertainty around future policy kept crypto tied closely to broader risk sentiment. In DeFi, token launches and infrastructure progress were overshadowed by major exploit activity and renewed concerns around cross-chain security.
