We are proud to announce the partnership between IIFM Milano and the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU).

Day 2 in Rome 🇮🇹

An exclusive immersion into the world of Fendi, where craftsmanship, creativity, hospitality and strategic vision come together to create lasting value.

Our students experienced a unique behind-the-scenes visit to the Maison’s atelier, discovering how exceptional artisanal expertise is transformed into products that embody heritage, innovation and contemporary luxury.

Beyond craftsmanship, the experience offered valuable insights into customization, client experience and communication strategy—key elements in building desirability and maintaining the global relevance of a luxury brand.

The journey also extended into the world of luxury hospitality, with the opportunity to explore Fendi’s boutique hotel concept and understand how leading luxury brands create immersive ecosystems where products, spaces, services and storytelling become part of one coherent experience.

Learning fashion management means understanding not only how products are made, but also how memorable experiences are designed.

An extraordinary start to our Rome Study Tour for the Students of the Master in Fashion Management 2026.

Our students had the privilege of accessing the Valentino Archive, an exceptional repository of creativity, craftsmanship, and fashion heritage that preserves decades of excellence and innovation.

Behind every iconic creation lies a story of vision, culture, savoir-faire, and timeless elegance. Exploring the archive offered a unique opportunity to understand how heritage becomes a strategic asset for contemporary luxury brands, together with the talk with managers and protagonist of Valentino’s success today.

IIFM - Italian Institute of Fashion Management Milano officially opened its doors to a brilliant new cohort of students entering our Fashion Law and Fashion Buying programs.

Our classroom this year represents a global map of talent, bringing together minds from the US, Mexico, Colombia, Australia, Russia, Belgium, Israel, Spain, Ukraine, and Türkiye.

We initiated our first session with a deep dive into Fashion Business Models.
Our educational philosophy is clear: before students can master legal contracts, IP frameworks, sourcing, or merchandising strategies, they must fully comprehend the core mechanics of how value is created and sustained in the global market.

Their academic journey accelerates into two specialized directions:

- Fashion Law:
Navigating intellectual property protection, complex negotiations, supply chain integrity, and global anti-counterfeiting strategies.

- Fashion Buying:
Driving retail success through precision trend forecasting, merchandising frameworks, and high-stakes commercial decisions.
