Five representatives of the University of Padua took part in the “Students at Risk and Academic Freedom” seminar in Bologna, organised as part of the Erasmus+ Students at Risk (StAR) project.
The project - launched through a collaboration between Università di Padova Università di Trento European Students' Union (ESU) SAIH Global Student Forum - brings together students, advocates, civil society organisations and artists to develop advocacy strategies in support of students at risk and academic freedom.
Held from 5 to 9 October, the seminar provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by students and scholars at risk, ways to support them, and the development of solidarity networks. The programme also featured the Padua programme and students’ perspectives.
An experience of exchange and collaboration to strengthen the protection of the right to education and academic freedom. 🎓🤝
