geoENV2020 Virtual Event Registration - June 18, 2021

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
the 13th International Conference on Geostatistics for Environmental Applications (geoENV2020) has been replaced by a virtual event where the three invited speakers will deliver their exciting keynote addresses.

We are pleased to announce that the registration to the geoENV2020 Virtual Event is now open.

The event is scheduled on June 18, 2021 at 14:00 (CEST) and will be free of charge, but a registration is needed to access the virtual platform.

The Book of Abstracts will be downloadable accessing the platform.

The deadline for the registration is June 15, 2021 and the virtual platform can be accessed from June 18, 2021 at 9:00 AM (CEST).

June 18, 2021 – A virtual event to greet geoENV2020 and welcome geoENV2022

In light of the persistent uncertainty and travel restrictions caused by the global pandemic, the geoENV2020 Organizing Committee, in agreement with the geoENVia Secretariat, has decided with great regret to further postpone the conference to the summer of 2022, ensuring that all participants can safely enjoy the event in person to its full potential. The conference, which will be referred to as geoENV2022, will still be hosted at the University of Parma, in Italy.

However, to leave a mark of the geoENV2020 conference and move forward, we are organizing a one-day virtual event on June 18, 2021. During this event the three invited speakers will deliver their exciting keynote addresses and we will all say goodbye to geoENV2020 and welcome geoENV2022. In addition, we are planning to publish (with ISBN) the geoENV2020 book of abstracts and extended abstracts with those abstracts already submitted and accepted, for those authors who want their contributions to appear in a book of proceedings. The virtual event and the publication of the proceedings will be free of charge.
A new website for geoENV2022 will soon be available with the new conference dates, as well as the updated deadlines and the portal to submit your new contributions.

due to COVID-19 outbreak, the 13th International Conference on Geostatistics for Environmental Application (geoENV2020), originally scheduled for July 2020, will be held in Parma (Italy) on June 16-18, 2021.

We proudly announce that 79 abstracts have already been confirmed and that abstract submission is now open to allow authors and other colleagues to propose new contributions.

📢📣 geoENV2020 - Parma, Italy - Rescheduled for June 16-18, 2021 📣📢 https://2020.geoenvia.org

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
due to the COVID-19 outbreak the geoENV2020 conference has been rescheduled for June 16th-18th, 2021.

The postponement is a fully replacement of the originally scheduled conference and accordingly we kept the original name of the event.

Corresponding authors of abstracts accepted in March, 2020 will be contacted by the Organizing Committee in September. Authors will have the opportunity to keep the original submission or to withdraw the abstract.

A new call for abstracts is scheduled to allow authors new submissions and to give more colleagues the chance to attend the conference.

Parma is the Italian Capital of Culture for 2020 and it will also be for 2021.

geoENV2020 postponed due to COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,
during this period, many countries are affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and traveling and gathering people are prohibited or severely restricted.
For these reasons, we made the difficult decision to postpone the geoENV2020 conference to the next year.
The conference is provisionally rescheduled for June 16th-18th, 2021.

The dates will be confirmed as soon as we have confirmation of the venue availability.
This postponement is a fully replacement of the originally scheduled conference and accordingly we decided to keep the original name of the event: geoENV2020.

The Authors of the already accepted abstracts will have the opportunities to: keep the original submission; modify the abstract; withdraw the abstract. In addition, there will be a new call for abstracts to give more colleagues the chance to attend the conference. New deadlines and instructions will be announced shortly.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and we thank you for your understanding and patience.
