The 3rd Edition of the Advanced Training Course on "European and International Human Rights Standards in Disaster Settings" (EIHRSDS) has just started at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna! 👏

During the week, around 20 participants will learn and engage in an exchange of ideas and experiences about the critical role that human rights play in disaster settings.

📣 Over the next three days nearly a hundred participants from the policy-making and science fields will join the Summer School on Evidence for Policy in Disaster Risk Management at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.

🌍 At COP27, a high-level event on 'The Role of Civil Society in Prevention and Response to Climate-Induced Disasters', with speakers from, among others, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and SwissRe.

Riccardo, EIHRSDS staff member, is part of the Scuola Sant'Anna delegation to COP27 and attended the meeting.
