Starting from a.y. 2014-2015 the second cycle degree in Business Administration and Management will offer a new international curriculum in Service Management entirely in English.
The Degree Programme in Service Management aims at developing professional profiles tailored to service management in both industrial companies and services companies operating in national and international markets.
Services represent a complex and dynamic branch of economic activities. They strongly depends on the ongoing developments in information and communication technologies as well as market globalization. Furthermore, they play an increasing role in the every day life of individuals and organizations. The overall objective of this programme is providing students with the knowledge and tools needed to fully understand the main strategic and operational traits associated with service management in national and international firms.
Specifically, a major topic shared among several courses concern the management of international business activities, that aims at training would be managers of multinational companies or enterprises with foreign business operations. These themes are relevant for both Italian and foreign students and represent a major traits of professional profiles in both Italian and foreign companies, who need complex and specialized skills and managerial competencies to implement effective strategies in international markets and in service activities both in large and small and medium sized organizations.
