The programme of the Coptic Summer School is designed to provide qualified students, scholars and people passionate about ancient religious history with a well-founded understanding of Coptic language and texts.

Dear friends,

This year again, we are ready to get our Reading Group activities at the Waldensian Faculty underway!

This year, we have decided to read biblical passages together, while taking the opportunity to explore some of the lesser-known Coptic dialects in a little more depth. It will certainly be a great opportunity to learn something new or refresh our memory by working with dialects that we do not usually encounter.

Anyone interested who already has some familiarity with Sahidic or Bohairic is very welcome to join us. Registration is free and can be completed at the following link:

Dear friends, summer has now come to an end, and after the success of this year’s Summer School, we’re resuming, as usual, our online reading group! All the information on how to join can be found here:
