L’obiettivo del progetto Mentorship è quello di sensibilizzare le comunità accademiche alle tematiche dell’inclusione sociale e della comunicazione interculturale, creando le basi per l’implementazione di schemi di mentorship tra pari.

Evento “Inclusive universities in the era of migration” presso Università La Sapienza martedì 7 Giugno alle 14.30
Martedì 7 giugno 2022 alle ore 14.30, presso l’Aula Organi Collegiali del Rettorato, si terrà l’evento “Inclusive universities in the era of migration”, organizzato dalla Sapienza Università di Roma nell’ambito del progetto UNI(di)VERSITY per discutere delle strategie e del ruolo delle università europee per la creazione di un’università inclusiva nell’era delle migrazioni.

L’evento è parte della UNI(di)VERSITY training week dal titolo “Strategies for inclusion of refugees and migrants in European Universities” (7-10 giugno 2022) a cui parteciperanno 40 esperti accademici e funzionari di università italiane ed europee interessati ad approfondire tematiche legate agli strumenti e le strategie per l’inclusione di rifugiati e migranti all’interno del sistema accademico. Dopo i saluti istituzionali, seguiranno gli interventi di UNHCR e dell’Organizzazione Internazionale per le Migrazioni (IOM) e la presentazione del volume “Opening Up the University: Teaching and Learning with Refugees” a cura di Ian Cook della Central European University.

A conclusione della giornata i rappresentanti delle università europee racconteranno le azioni di sostegno realizzate per gli studenti migranti e rifugiati al fine di creare una Università aperta alla diversità e all’inclusione.

Sapienza organizes 6 days dedicated to Covid-19 vaccination for:
- students residing in regions other than Lazio,
- students from foreign countries in possession of a tax code recognized in Italy and a medical domicile in Italy (general practitioner in Italy).

The vaccinations will be carried out using the Moderna mRNA vaccine (Spikevax) and will be administered at the "George Eastman" Dental Center, located in Viale Regina Elena, 287b (left side of the building, after the stairs).

Before going to class, remember to book the classroom with the Prodigit system (if you don't know how to do it, you can find the procedure in our previous posts).

From 1st December on, students will be able to reuse some of the University study rooms.

It is very important to remember that the study rooms will be accessible only with the Green Pass.

You'll find the relevant timetables and the classrooms that will be available at the moment.

Due to the precautionary measures in place to contain the spread of Covid-19, all Student Affairs Offices will carry out their activities only remotely. Students can contact the offices sending an e-mail from their institutional e-mail accounts directly to their Student Affairs Office or can call via Skype during office hours, using the address indicated on the office's webpage.

The students can also submit their "Istanze" online via e-mail by filling in the form "Istanze via mail" (“Request via email”) published on the "Student forms" page (in Italian).

For students currently abroad or Italian students who cannot purchase a tax stamp, the Student Affairs Office – upon request – will mail the payment slip together with the tax stamp which can also be paid online by credit or debit card.

Starting from 22nd November, for in-person lectures, all available seats in the classroom can be used, unless the epidemiological trend changes.
Online lectures will also be guaranteed for fragile students who cannot attend in person for health reasons and for those unable to book a seat in the classroom.

This is guaranteed at least until the end of the first semester.

Students must have the COVID-19 Green Pass (or EU equivalent) or certificate of exemption from vaccination - issued according to specific criteria defined by the Italian Ministry of Health - in order to access any university facility (e.g. lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, administrative offices, professors' offices, etc.), to book their place in classrooms, libraries and study rooms and to participate in any in-person activities.

Green pass/COVID-19 certificate sample checks for students will be carried out by those in charge of the facilities and/or by academic staff during in-person educational activities.

We'd like to share with you some information on the Post Offices in Rome for foreign students.
At Termini Station, you can find employees who speak English, Arab, Chinese, Egyptian, Filipino etc. It is one of the most multiethnical Post Office in Rome.
Moreover, there are lots of Sportello Amico in the Capital city.

Here we mentioned only a few of them, but if you want to find the one(s) nearest to you, please remember to call the numer named above.

Also, we have provided a list of some of the the nearest Post Offices from Termini station and Sapienza University.
Please take note that all of these indications on how to reach them are just advices, of course you can choose the route you prefer.

We'd like to get your attention to the deadlines for the enrolment and the payment of the first installment.
There have been some changes: the deadline of the enrolment for students of the mentioned categories has been extended from 4/11/2021 to 11/11/2021.
Please be aware that if you pay beyond the deadline you'll be charged of 65€ of additional fee which doubles after 60 days of delay.
If you are an international student or a student with a foreign qualification and have followed the enrollment procedure respecting the deadlines but the secretariat has not yet authorized you to pay the fee, do not worry, in case of delay you will not have to pay any additional fee.
