This Jubilee Year, Catholic Studies students journeyed to Rome to encountered the living heart of the Church in communion with the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, guiding us into a renewed mission of faith and hope.
Crossing the Holy Doors of mercy, we prayed at the tombs of Peter and Paul, stood in the places where martyrs gave witness, and celebrated the Eucharist where saints once walked. These were encounters with the enduring reality of grace. We were also there for the Feast of St. Ignatius, and got to connect to our Jesuit roots, along with young people from Jesuit schools and organizations from all over the world. We also enjoyed the opportunity to gather with other pilgrims from throughout the United States for inspiring talks, prayer and adoration, at the Basilica of St. Paul, Outside the Walls.
