Loyola University Chicago Rome Start Program Begin your Loyola experience by spending a year at our John Felice Rome Center in Italy. Then travel to Chicago to complete your Loyola degree.

Rome Start gives select students the opportunity to spend the first year of their Loyola experience studying at our John Felice Rome Center in Italy. The program is open to international students and U.S. citizens with international experience or interest. Admission to the Rome Start program includes admission to Loyola University Chicago. After spending a year at the Rome Center, students will co

mplete their degree program in Chicago. This unique program allows students to gain a global perspective to their education while receiving a renowned Loyola degree. Follow the Undergraduate Admission Office:

The year has come to an end faster than what we expected, and Rome Starters are starting to feel nostalgic about saying good-bye to the city that has given us so much.
