Looking back on Final Reviews for our 2026 Vertical Design , we are so impressed with the creativity and precision behind our students’ designs. This summer, Professor Alessio Rosati assigned a section of the Tiber river for students to reevaluate, repurpose, and reinvent so as to create greater functionality and connectivity between parts of the Trastevere and Regola neighbourhoods on opposite sides of the embankment. Joined by Guest Crits Professor James Kalsbeek (College of Arts & Architecture) and Dean Stephanie Lin (The School of Architecture), Program Director Romolo Martemucci led the evaluation of student deliverables and project narratives in our Gatta Studio. Congratulations to Kelly Vigil (Kelly Vigil), David Decker (.deckerr), and Santiago Sanchez (Santiago Sanchez Aguilera) on a job well done! (Photo: Student David Decker presenting his project).
