La nostra Scuola orafa

L’Accademia Delle Arti Orafe é la più importante e la prima scuola orafa nata in Italia nel 1983 su un’idea dell’artista Salvatore Gerardi, ed è considerata il punto di riferimento in Italia e in Europa per chi vuole intraprendere una carriera professionale nel mondo dell’oreficeria e dell’ Alta Gioielleria. In questi 40 anni i nostri studenti hanno lavorato per i più importanti brand della gioielleria mondiale, tra i quali figurano : Bulgari, Cartier, Tiffany, Damiani, Van Cleef, Buccellati e tanti altri. Molti ex studenti sono diventati imprenditori e hanno aperto gioiellerie, oreficerie, o brand indipendenti, arrivando a realizzare gioielli per star della musica e del cinema internazionale. Non a caso da uno studio effettuato sugli ultimi 7 anni, abbiamo constatato che il 94% dei nostri studenti trova lavoro appena terminata l’Accademia. Our Jewellery Wax Modelling and Microsculpture course was created with one clear ambition: to offer you the finest training in the world, transforming your creativity into professional expertise.

At Accademia delle Arti Orafe, you receive individual guidance, with a learning path tailored to your ideas, experience and goals.

You work with different types of wax, from hard carving waxes to softer modelling waxes, exploring techniques, shapes, volumes and details as you unleash your imagination and develop your own distinctive style.

Every design takes shape in your hands, guided by master craftspeople who help you understand how to turn an idea into a piece that can be produced through lost-wax casting.

Our goal is to help you become a skilled, versatile and independent wax modeller, giving you the expertise to create your own designs and take your first steps towards launching your own jewellery line.

A masterpiece of fine jewellery crafted by our master jeweller

Starting with a solid ring, built entirely from scratch, Sergio has created a piece of extraordinary complexity: a pavé setting that wraps around the surface and continues down the sides, alternating white and deep pink stones in a geometric pattern that elegantly follows the contours of the jewellery.

The challenge lies in every detail: distributing stones of different sizes across curved surfaces, preparing each individual setting and ensuring the stones are set with continuity, balance and precision. A task that demands exceptional technical mastery, patience and an artistic sensibility honed through experience.

Sergio has poured a great deal of passion into this creation, attending to every step with the dedication of someone who deeply loves his craft. And the result speaks for itself: a ring with a commanding presence, rich in light and colour, capable of leaving one speechless.

Congratulations. In this masterpiece, one can see your hands, your experience and all the heart you have put into creating it.
