We were delighted to collaborate with alumni of the college and highly acclaimed classical music group 'The Priests' this summer for a week of faith and music with musicians from all across Ireland.

📹 Have a look at this beautiful feature from EWTN Vatican, highlighting how the trio became an international musical hit which features our summer concert at the college.

Last Friday evening the college celebrated it’s 100th anniversary on the Caelian Hill with a special ‘Centenary in Song’ garden concert 🎶

The concert was the culmination of a week long Musical Pilgrimage hosted in collaboration with the highly acclaimed classical music group and alumni of the college, “The Priests” alongside Mezzo Soprano Nuala Murray 🎼

The choir was made up of 30 liturgical musicians who came from all across the island of Ireland for a week of prayer, music and formation 🎵

Thanks to everyone who took part and to all those who joined us for a wonderful evening of classical and sacred music 🎹😇

Our music pilgrimage is well underway as we prepare for tomorrow evening’s centenary concert, celebrating 100 years of the Pontifical Irish College on the Coelian Hill. 🎉🎼

Our participants have been rehearsing, singing, and sharing music throughout Rome, visiting some of the city’s historic basilicas along the way. As we journey together in song, we are celebrating not only this remarkable milestone but also the rich musical, spiritual, and cultural heritage that has connected the Irish College with Rome for a century.☘️🎹

We now look forward with great anticipation to tomorrow evening’s special concert at 18.30 in our front lawn. To book your place please contact [email protected] 🎟️

Today in collaboration with our friends in we were delighted to welcome , Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science of Ireland and Colm O’Reardon, Secretary General to the department, to the College for a special visit during this significant year in our history. 🏛️

Our Irish students offered an engaging and thoughtful presentation on the Lay Formation Programme, reflecting on how their studies and experiences at the College have fostered a deeper sense of co-responsibility for the Church’s mission and responsible citizenship in contemporary society. 🤝

The Minister also had the opportunity to visit our extensive historical archives, which preserve material dating back almost 400 years to the foundation of the College. 📚

This visit comes at a particularly meaningful moment as the College marks the 100th anniversary of its presence on the Coelian Hill, a century of education, formation, scholarship, and community in the heart of Rome. 🇻🇦🇮🇹🇮🇪

Last Friday, for the feast of St. Joseph the Worker (May 1), the Pontifical Irish College had the privilege of welcoming more than 300 people in need, in collaboration with the Sant’Egidio Community, for a special lunch and an afternoon of entertainment.

We are deeply grateful to all the volunteers, staff, and students who made this day possible and who even brought along some Irish music and dance to share! 🎉🙏🏻☀️
