Ieri pomeriggio abbiamo ricevuto una tristissima notizia: una nostra studentessa, Zhao Ziming, ha perso la vita mentre era in vacanza al lago, vicino Rieti. Avrebbe dovuto fra poco iniziare il secondo anno di laurea magistrale in Design, Multimedia and Visual Communication (DCVM) della sapienza Università di Roma, corso in lingua inglese, ed era un’ottima studentessa che aveva superato con la lode gli esami di progetto che aveva dato a giugno. Con grande dolore, Il presidente del Corso di Studio DCVM, tutto il corpo dei docenti e la comunità studentesca della Facoltà di Architettura e della Sapienza si stringono alla famiglia, alle amiche e agli amici non solo dell’università per questa dolorosissima perdita.
Yesterday afternoon, we received the very sad news that one of our students, Zhao Ziming, lost her life while on holiday at a lake near Rieti. Ziming was about to begin the second year of the Master’s Degree Programme in Design, Multimedia and Visual Communication (DCVM), the English-taught programme at Sapienza University of Rome. She was an outstanding student, who had completed her design courses in June with the highest honours. With profound sadness, the President of the DCVM Degree Programme, the entire teaching staff, and the student communities of the Faculty of Architecture and Sapienza University extend their heartfelt condolences to Ziming’s family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her during this time of immense loss.
