🌍 The University of Rome Tor Vergata played a prominent role as a co-organizing institution during the International Conference “Health Safety of Officers and Civilians in the Context of Full-Scale Conflict”, held in Warsaw, Poland.
The conference brought together military leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers, emergency responders, policy-makers and international organizations to discuss the challenges posed by contemporary conflicts and their impact on civilian and military health protection.
The Tor Vergata delegation included:
🎤 Prof. Andrea Malizia, Director of the International Master Courses in Protection Against CBRNe Events, who presented:
“Drones and CBRNe: New Threats but New Ways to Reduce Threats”
🏥 Prof. Francesco Garaci, Dean of the Departments of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Tor Vergata Hospital, who presented:
“How PTV Hospital is Approaching New Plans to Face CBRNe Events”
🧩 Dr. Alba Iannotti, researcher and expert in emergency preparedness training, who presented:
“Table Top Exercises as an Instrument to Train Experts”
The participation of Tor Vergata highlighted the University’s growing international role in health security, hospital preparedness, CBRNe risk management, crisis response and professional training.
Special appreciation goes to Assoc. Prof. Karolina J. Helnarska, WSB Merito University Poznań, and Amb. Krzysztof Paturej, Chairman of ICCSS, for their support and their efforts in creating a high-level international platform for dialogue and cooperation.
